Battlefords Denture Care was founded by Alex and Christine Dustan. After spending nearly 25 years working as a lab technician in several denture labs and clinics, Alex, with Christine’s support, decided to go back to school at 40 years old.

After graduating from NAIT and spending time in the Greater Vancouver Area securing his practicing license, they returned home to North Battleford. Here, they opened the original Battlefords Denture Care location with a humble clinic in the Territorial Place Co-op Mall. The practice grew and evolved over the years, which included a move to a larger location in what is now Discovery Co-op Mall and the current home to Battlefords Denture Care.

Alex’s sons Joel and Jay, as well as his daughter in law Candace Dustan, practiced alongside Alex until him and Christine stepped away from the business.

Alex and Christine have retired from the business and their two sons have taken over. Jay and Joel Dustan are the existing partners and owners at Battlefords Denture Care. It’s the company’s mission to continue to carry forward the same core values of the practice and provide patients with the integral and honest treatment they have come to know.
